As an artist, I grew up in Güines, Cuba, with a strong love for Visual Arts, spending hours creating and learning in my free time, since I was 8 years old.
At age 14 I participated in the state contest in 1997 called: "The Golden Age" where I got 1st place award and one mention. Also, in 1997 I participated in a county contest obtaining 1st place award again.
Later in 2000, I participated in the county of Güines festival where I won a prize, also in the same year
I participated in the county of South Melena, Cuba where I obtained 1st place and one mention.
A few years after, in 2004, I participated in another contest also in Güines called PAEME festival where I was rewarded with a mention.
In the following years, I was more focused on my professional career as an "Orthopedic and Traumatology Tech"
and I was completely disconnected from the Art contests but I continued painting and drawing on my free time
as a hobby.
In 2018, I have dedicated more time and have been working more professionally on my art because it is my passion to create more artwork
to share with the world and art lovers.
I worked hard to develop drawings and paintings that speak both to me and others about the beauty around us that exists in the world we live in.
Part of my process before I begin painting is to investigate, compose my ideas and feelings
in a matter that I can create something original that can express reality and fantasy.
